My colleagues and I were hosted to a tree top walk on a hill. This was my first time visiting a tree top walk so I was quite excited. The walk was designed by the Germans and maintained by Orang Aslis, indigenous people of Malaysia (remember your geography lessons in school?).
Treading cautiously. For safety, no more than three persons are allowed on each stretch of the walk, and each person had to keep a minimal distance of 2m away from the person in front.
This was how the walk was anchored to the tree trunks. As the tree was quite old (over 100 years), the anchor had to be released a few times during the year to allow the tree to breathe.

From this vantage point, the Petronas twin towers can be seen.
Our guide brought our attention to the view of how the trees co-exist. See how they have drawn boundaries with each other.
