Melvin and Boon Lin's wedding.

Finally, our dear friends BIG DAY has come. Best wishes to them.

Thanks for your thoughtfulness for remembering me while doing this post. It really touches me to know I still have a place in a friend's heart after all these years of absence. Except for Mun Wah, the lunch gangs are all present. The guys are still as dashing and the ladies still as pretty, and really haven't changed much from the last time (more than 4 years ago?) I met these friends. Not forgetting some of us have kids who are so big already. It is also good to see Margaret and Violet in the photos.

It's a pity that I couldn't be at Melvin & Boon Lin's wedding. In my first few months in New Haven, Boon Lin visited my wife and me while on a road trip in New England. That may be a simple gesture, but it touched our hearts. Melvin and I corresponded on a few occasions during our times in the States, and we sort of "encouraged" each other. In fact, after Melvin returned to Singapore, I got much help from him on a few occasions when I need it. My heartiest congratulations to both Melvin and Boon Lin for finding each other.

To be honest, this post came as surprise to me. It seems that I have been really left out-of-touch of what is happening among my friends. I guess I have got much to catch up when I am back. If everything goes as planned on my side, I should see you people in mid/late July.

Meanwhile, take care and have peace.
